Welcome to the Sun Canyon Elementary School website. We are located just west of downtown Phoenix, Arizona. We are part of the Fowler Elementary School District. At Sun Canyon Elementary, learning and fun go hand in hand in our preschool through fifth-grade classrooms. We are a tight-knit community of hard working, hard playing, success-oriented individuals who work together to bring about the academic and personal success of every student in our care. Dear Sun Canyon Families:

Welcome to a new school year! It is with great excitement that I welcome both our returning families and those joining the Sun Canyon community for the first time. We are honored that you have entrusted us with your child’s education, and we look forward to partnering with you throughout the year.

At Sun Canyon Elementary, our mission is Creating the Leaders of Tomorrow. We believe every child has unique strengths and unlimited potential. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students are challenged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

This year, we will continue to focus on high-quality instruction, building strong relationships, and creating opportunities for every student to succeed. We know that the strongest schools are built on partnerships between home and school, and we encourage you to stay involved by attending school events, communicating with your child’s teacher, volunteering when possible, and celebrating your child’s accomplishments along the way.
